deborah gerling currently showing at the Rourke Art Gallery
523 south fourth street, Moorhead, MN.
From Friday 5 august to 25 September.
It was my honor to have seen the exhibit. It was wonder full and new. like the cranks on the sculptures the pieces twist your mind around a bit. I came out thinking in a different way that I still cant quite put my finger on.
deb has a way of looking at things and seeing what we do not. She has the talent to point these things out to us threw her work.
Best wishes on your future shows deb you will go far.
The pics are from the show at the Rourke and some off the net from other showings deb has had.
Here are some links to other shows deb has been in. I found what I could lol

Deborah Gerling: Recent Sculpture: exhibit opening
Aug.10th/ Rourke Art Gallery
In looking at the pics of the excellent and very visual work from this artist, I immediately thought that this is an exhibit I'd love to see. Detailed expressions and elements propped and set up in landscapes or simply the landscapes themselves. Deborah's work includes sculptures made of wood, cloth, bronze and paint. Many of the pieces include people which just adds a surreal enhancement to a lot of the work. I am suggesting this artist's work for certain. It's what they call very trippy.701.236.8861 for info.
Would love to hear what your thoughts are.
How can you not just love .debs work? |
